Its a long way indeed and hardly exciting. On the way the Flinders Highway passes through small towns of varying sizes and Torrens Creek is one of thoseThe cemetery is tucked away down the side of the river and not at all obvious and seems to owe its existence to the seasonal Wet when nobody (in earlier times) could travel very far.
Today there's merely a cluster of houses and a pub, plus a bright new sign pointing the way to the cemetery, but when one follows the directions it is to become lost in a maze of dirt tracks. What needs to be known is that the cemetery is about a hundred meters inside a grassy field accessed by a gate that gives no hint of its purpose... The cemetery listing shown here is complete in terms of visible headstones.
